Thanksgiving

ThanksgivingFirst of all, for all of you who have followed my posts, Happy Thanksgiving.  I’m thankful to find each of you in my statistics account.  You give the encouragement to continue writing about my experiences and knowledge.

Which brings me to part 2 of this post.  I’ve not posted in a couple of weeks because my customization of the payroll system has reached the last stages with my current client, we have gone live, and we now are finding the little glitches that only adding unsophisticated users can bring out.  And at the same time, since I’m about to roll-off, I’m searching for work.  This is the busiest part of any project for all of us.

So, in a shameless plug, if you are aware of anyone needing a PeopleSoft Financial Functional resource who specializes in General Ledger and Asset Management, I’d be willing to kick in a percentage fee based on first year annual income and length of project, after landing the job.  It won’t make you rich, but it will make you smile (of course terms and conditions apply – my lawyer made me do it).

This is the basis of my consulting company.  We all want top rates.  We’ve earned them, but when someone else helps us, they should be rewarded for going out of their way.  If we all work together, together we’ll find work.

If this sparks any thoughts, I'd love to listen! Please Comment...
